Privacy Policy

When you place an order we collect your name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number (when provided), and the details of what you bought. Payment card details are entered directly into our payment processor and are never stored on our systems.

When you join The Woodshed we collect your email address, the page you signed up from, and the date and time of your consent.

We also collect standard technical information such as browser type, device type, and pages viewed, which helps us keep the store working properly.

To process and ship orders, send order and shipping confirmations, answer your questions, prevent fraud, and — only if you've asked for it — send you Woodshed emails about new releases and member-only lots.

We do not sell your personal information.

We share the minimum necessary with the service providers who make the store work: our e-commerce and payments platform (Shopify), our roasting and fulfillment partner, shipping carriers, and our email platform (Klaviyo). Each processes your data on our behalf and under their own security obligations.

We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights.

Woodshed emails are opt-in. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. Unsubscribing does not stop transactional emails such as order and shipping confirmations.

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep your cart intact between visits, secure checkout, and understand how the store is used. You can block cookies in your browser, though checkout may not work correctly without them.

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@rockymountroasters.com and we'll respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under laws such as the CCPA or GDPR; we honor those requests the same way.

We keep order records for as long as we're required to for tax and accounting purposes, and marketing records until you unsubscribe. Data is held with providers that use encryption in transit and at rest.

Our store is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
