We started with a simple idea: a town this good deserves coffee this good. No pretense, no jargon — just careful roasting and a name we're willing to put on the bag.
The place
Mill buildings along the river. The water tower you can see from the highway. Tree-lined streets and neighborhoods with names people still say with pride. Rocky Mount was built by people who made things carefully and expected them to last — that's the standard we work to.
The craft
We roast in small batches and taste every one. Coffee leaves the roastery the same week it's roasted, dated on the bag, so what arrives at your door still tastes like what came out of the drum. When a profile isn't right, we don't ship it.
The community
Our blends are named for the streets that raised us. Our limited releases are named for neighborhoods. The Woodshed is where the people who care most hear from us first. Coffee is the product; the town is the point.
